The project ‘Eco-Mathematics for Middle School Students’ project, which is supported within the scope of the 4004-Nature Education and Science Schools 2022/1 call under TÜBİTAK Science and Society Programmes, was carried out by Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Deniz ÖZEN ÜNAL was carried out between 05-11 September 2022 at the Aydın Province Strategic Planning and Innovation Centre (AİSYEM) building of our University.
In this project, it is aimed to introduce eco-mathematics to middle school students who are studying with transport education in village schools, to improve their environmental awareness and attitudes towards the environment positively, to increase their mathematics knowledge, to improve their attitudes and motivation towards learning environment and mathematics. It is also aimed to provide social contribution as the project develops an innovative perspective on mathematics education and focuses on the development of students and teachers.
