The project "Gifted Students' Quest for Mathematics in Nature: Differentiated Education" project was supported under the 4004-Nature Education and Science Schools 2022/1 call under TÜBÄ°TAK Science and Society Programmes. The project was carried out by Söke Science and Art Centre (BÄ°LSEM) in cooperation with our Centre and was led by Dr. Seda SEVGÄ°LÄ° KOÇAK. The project was carried out between 16-21 January 2023 with accommodation at Söke TAYEM.
Within the scope of the project, a one-week mathematics camp in nature was organised for 30 gifted students attending BİLSEM in Aydın province, where environmental issues and mathematics teaching were handled together. In this camp, an interdisciplinary approach was followed by combining mathematics activities with environmental education, science, games, drama, art, sports and music.
